I, too, am having a meltdown over the end of August, as a person from someplace warm in (actual) New England. I demand a refund for July.
I'm also in actual New England but I'm happy that it's getting cooler.
But are you from a place with a 2-3 month wind-down period between seasons? This is key to the meltdown.
I'm in Boston. The bar for a meltdown isn't that high here.
