I haven't read the other two, but I thought that The Power actually handled trans and gender non-conforming folks in a decently nuanced way! There were at least two AMAB characters who had the Special Woman Power and faced gendered violence because of it, which read to me like a pretty pointed comment about how treating chromosomes like destiny hurts trans and gnc people. That nuance sure doesn't come across in the reviews, though.
Every trans person outed, and/or dying, at once. Now THAT'S a horror premise that gives me pause. Which is to say, I'm looking forward to the fanfics that make this actually interesting.

Fact: most issues of 'Y: The Last Man' don't actually pass the Bechdel Test.
It was not a good series. I read the whole thing because I wanted to know how it ended. It...wasn't worth it :(
