This is much better than the Burton translation.
I sent this to my little sister (who broke up with her gf recently) and she
replied “Who got my journal and decided to publish it?” so this is really
quite spot on.
(Also I guess she’s Dirtbag Catullus now but so are we all)
These new Dirtbags are giving me life
I adore this so much. I did an entire semester translating Catullus and this is better than anything I produced.
