I am late to this comment section but this excellent newsletter reminded me of a real real good story I just read by Rachel Pollack, about Joseph the interpreter of dreams. I read her short collection *The Beatrix Gate* yesterday having somehow never heard of her and immediately went to find everything else she had ever written. Could not more highly recommend that book.
