Former subscriber/fellow Brooklyn-ite here who (if I remember correctly) canceled my paid subscription because I was trying to be responsible when I went back to grad school at (age older than you), but you keep showing up in my inbox, how DARE you?? Anyway. I just paid to resubscribe and I'm happy I did because I believe so totally in paying for content, not least because I used to be a comedy writer in my former life.
